Mathius de Felipe is a photographer, teacher and artist born in Tenerife, Canary Islands and based in Barcelona, Spain, where he alternates his personal projects with commercial commissions.

He has a degree in Fine Arts and Design in Photography, with studies in Geography, as well as in Digital Art, Project Creation and Documentary Film.

Mathius has been the recipient of numerous fellowships and awards, some of his collaborations and awards in the artistic field have been: Selected in the portfolio viewing of Santander to participate in Descubrimientos PHE21, 20th FotoPres grant from La Caixa, artistic production grant from the Mapfre Foundation, artistic production grant from the Cabildo de Tenerife, The Private Space, CCCB (Center of Contemporary Culture of Barcelona), International Festival Photo Phnompenh, Emergent (Lleida), Fotocolectania Foundation, Biennial of Plastic Arts of the Canary Islands and International Biennial of Photography of Tenerife, among others.
